A short, blunt account of why Cavallo exists, who it serves, and the four rules we still run on. No slogans, no manifesto theatre.
Operating continuously since 2014.
Fewer than 4% of applicants clear our vetting.
From hotel lobbies to red-carpet premieres.
Most of our work is repeat, most of the time.
Cavallo was founded in 2014 because the founder spent a single uncomfortable evening at a private event where the security was loud, the staff were under-trained, and a minor incident escalated because nobody on post knew the protocol. The next morning, he started a different kind of company.
Today, we work with hotels, private estates, galleries, film productions, and Fortune-500 firms across British Columbia. The mandate hasn't changed. The roster now numbers 180+ officers, a 24/7 dispatch operation in downtown Vancouver, and a training academy that runs three intakes per year.
Get in touch →We are not the cheapest provider in the market. We are not trying to be. We hold ourselves to the standard we would want for our own families.
Fewer than 4% of applicants clear our vetting. Every officer passes a written, practical, and 90-day probation.
Provincial certification is the entry ticket, not the finish line. 120 hours of additional hospitality training.
Every assignment has a named site lead who owns the night. No rotating managers, no off-site dispatchers.
We do not lower the bar to fit the price. If a client wants the cheapest option, we recommend a competitor.
We have a simple test for every new client engagement: would we staff this site for our own family? If the answer is no, we walk away.
